About Life

Butterfly Blue MorphoThis the personal blog of JR Seaman, previously Pittman, veteran search engine marketer and long-time writer. Online acquaintances often call me J or JR. Friends call me Jahnelle. It’s a pleasure to meet you.

I’ve heard from more than one person that a man, when he has something to work out, pulls himself into his cave, thinks things over by himself, and then comes out with the answer. A woman calls her friends and talks to her family, works everything out, and then comes out with the answer.

Life’s a Work in Progress is a mixture. It’s my cave, where I think things over in silence while I’m writing, but I’m sharing with the online community. Maybe I’ll come out with better answers!

At the time of this writing, in February 2012, a lot has happened in the previous year or two. I found out I have HPV; we found out my dad has stage 4 cancer and probably not a lot of life left. My three oldest boys, who I hadn’t seen but missed dearly for years, came back into my life and filled it to overflowing. I’ve fallen in love with God and with my children. I’ve recently discovered, much to my surprise and delight, the love of a good man. It’s all rather overwhelming, but I learn something new every day.

All in all, it’s a mell of a hess to wrestle through, so I’m wrestling in print for you to read. I hope to give you something that brings a smile and laughter, touches your heart or teaches from my mistakes and struggles.

Because life really is a work in progress.

2013 update – God’s been good to me. I’m now Mrs. Seaman, and married to a wonderful man!

  1. Hello Jahnelle,

It’s Justin of MomentMatters.com. I’m excited to inform you that Moment Matters is re-launching with new features and design!

Along with it, I’m compiling a free e-book about the Greatest Articles and I’m featuring excellent comments in it. Your thoughts on “Men and Women Shopping Dissimilarity” is a standout! I’m asking permission if I could include your words in the book?

    All the best,
    Justin G. Bautista
